Here I have another piece from the well-known Danish ceramics workshop Søholm Keramik from the island of Bornholm for you. Bornholm is known for its diverse range of ceramics and, of course, for well-known manufacturers such as Søholm Ceramics, whose work is still classic Danish design and is highly regarded around the world. This lamp was designed by Noomi Backhausen and Poul Brandborg in the 1970s. Due to its ornamental painting and the considerable size, this lamp is a representative art object of Danish modernism. In my other ads you will find many more matching bowls and lamps from Søholm Ceramics and from Noomi Backhausen.
Condition: undamaged with normal signs of age, with manufacturer's stamp on the underside.
Dimensions: diameter: approx. 17cm cm, height with lamp socket approx. 33cm. The lamp has an E27 socket.
