Here I have another piece from the well-known Danish ceramics workshop Søholm Keramik from the island of Bornholm for you. Bornholm is known for its variety of ceramics and, of course, for well-known manufacturers such as Søholm Stentøj, whose work is still a classic of Danish design and is highly regarded around the world. This bowl was designed by Noomi Backhausen in the 1970s. The floral painting in strong shades of blue stands out clearly from the otherwise cream-colored background. The bowl is a wonderful addition for lovers of mid-century design and creates a strong accent on teak furniture. In my other ads you will find many more bowls and lamps from Søholm Ceramics.
Condition: undamaged with normal signs of age, with manufacturer's stamp on the underside.
