Here I have this beautiful Holmegaard glass plate lamp for you. The Holmegaard Glassworks was founded in 1825 and still exists today as part of the Rosendahl Group. This extremely rare glass plate lamp was designed in 1978 by the Danish glass artist Per Lütken. Per Lütken (1916 – 1998) worked at Holmegaard from 1942 until his death and created over 3000 designs for the glass factory. The glass plate lamp is characterized by the solid glass pane, which is decorated on the inside in amber and provided with glass granules, which creates a wonderful warm light. The angle of the lamp can also be varied using the metal bracket on the back. In my other advertisements you will find many more design lamps from Holmegaard.

Condition: small scratches on the front, otherwise undamaged with normal signs of age with manufacturer label on the back.

Dimensions: height approx. 27.5cm; width approx. 22.5 cm; Depth about 10cm. The lamp has an E14 socket.
