Here I have this extraordinarily richly decorated lamp by the ceramist Helge Bjufstrøm for the well-known ceramic workshop of Michael Andersen on Bornholm. The Danish island of Bornholm is world-famous for its diverse artists and ceramic workshops - pieces by Michael Andersen have long been among the classics of Danish design. This shapely lamp with the serial number 6254 impresses with its ornamental decor and the raw and natural surface of the dark ceramic. This lamp looks particularly good on Danish vintage furniture or in combination with other pieces by Helge Bjufstrøm. Condition: undamaged with normal signs of age and manufacturer's stamp on the underside.
Dimensions: diameter: approx. 15cm, height with lamp socket approx. 22.5cm. The lamp has an E27 socket.
