Here I have this very richly decorated lamp by the well-known Danish ceramic artist Mette Lokke Stiil. Mette Lokke and Niels Stiil founded their workshop in 1972 at Tranum in Denmark, in 2002 the workshop finally closed. Ceramics by Mette Lokke Stiil are extremely rare exhibits and deserve a lot of attention due to the unusual design and the craftsmanship of the processing. This handmade lamp dates from the 1970s and is decorated with an abstract floral ornament. Stylistically, Mette Lokke Stiil can be assigned to the brutalism of the 1970s, which is beautifully illustrated by this lamp. The brutalist decor makes this lamp a real eye-catcher that looks particularly good on mid-century furniture. You can find more matching lamps and other ceramics by Mette Lokke Stiil in my other advertisements.
