Here I have this handmade pendant lamp by the artist Jette Hellerøe for you. Jette Hellerøe is one of the most important ceramic artists from Denmark and worked for Haslev Ceramics, among others, until she opened her own studio in Lønstrup in 1972 - she worked here until 2001. This elaborately crafted lamp, in the typical 70s brutalism style, was created in her own workshop. The lamp is glazed light green on the inside, which creates a beautiful play of colors through the omissions. This lamp looks particularly good with teak furniture from Scandinavia, but can also provide a stylish accent as a vintage element in a modern household. You can find many more ceramics by Jette Hellerøe and other Danish ceramists in my other ads.

Condition: two small chips on the stylized flowers see pictures number 10 and 11, otherwise undamaged with normal signs of age, with signature on the inside.

Dimensions: diameter approx. 29cm, height approx. 23.5cm. The lamp has an E27 socket and a cable chain of about 95cm in length.
