Here I have this ceramic bowl from the ceramic workshop of the Danish artist Henri Nielsen. Henri and Else Nielsen founded their own workshop near Odense in the 1950s, which they ran until the 1990s. The bowl dates from the 1960s and was made from dark shards. On the inside there is an ornamental incised decoration and a light gray glaze, which give the bowl an unmistakably brutalistic appearance. The light gray inside of the bowl also forms a strong contrast to the dark shards, making this bowl an absolute eye-catcher for your home. In my other advertisements you will find more ceramics by Henri and Else Nielsen.
