Here I have this handmade bowl from the Danish pottery Rakker-Huset. The Rakker-Huset workshop was run by Lise and Willy Giørtz in the village of Hvidemose. The bowl was handcrafted from light-colored shards in the 1970s and is decorated on the outside with an ornamental decoration in warm shades of brown. The earth-colored painting contrasts beautifully with the body of the pottery and makes the bowl a stylish one-off that will cause a stir as a one-of-a-kind mid-century exhibit. Condition: undamaged with normal signs of age and signature on the bottom.
