Here I have this unusual vase from the workshop of the Danish artist Aksel Larsen for you. This large vase, serial number 1937, was handmade in the 1970s in the workshop of ceramist Aksel Larsen, surnamed Axella. The basic rectangular shape of the vase, as well as the modern incised decoration and the running glaze, are particularly striking. This vase is a stylish classic of Danish art ceramics and a real unique piece of Danish modernism. You can find many other ceramics by Axella and other Danish ceramicists in my other advertisements.
